Delivery & site preparation.
The right delivery starts with the right information. Here’s what to have ready for your quote.
Your delivery quote
Freight is quoted for your product, quantity, destination, and unloading requirements. The catalog price does not include delivery or applicable tax. Share the full address and any site restrictions with your request.
Container access & placement
Plan a clear route for the delivery vehicle, including gate width, turning space, overhead cables, trees, and soft ground. A level, load-bearing base must be ready before placement. The delivery plan will identify the unloading method and who provides any crane or forklift.
Homes, offices, pools & saunas
Confirm any foundations, electrical connections, plumbing, drainage, and local permits needed for the intended use. Installation and site work are included only when expressly stated in the written quote.
Outboard engines
Confirm shaft length, steering, controls, fuel connections, and boat compatibility with your installer. Ask which propeller, rigging components, and accessories are included. Arrange appropriate lifting and inspection when the shipment arrives.
Scheduling & inspection
Dispatch and transit estimates are provided after availability is confirmed. Inspect the shipment when it arrives, photograph visible damage, and record any discrepancy with the carrier and Northern before installation.
